BCTA/NA SPONSORED OFFERINGS POLICY

BCTA/NA’s periodic sponsored offerings including, courses, webinars, and classes. These offerings support the association's membership, growth and resources.

BCTA/NA SPONSORSHIP OFFERING PROCESS

Sponsored offerings are by invitation only. The sponsored offering committee seeks presenter/s with expertise benefiting the membership. BCTA/NA does not accept applications or solicitations for sponsored offerings. The committee submits their choice for review and final approval by the Board. Please direct inquiries and questions to Pam Hower, BCTA/NA administrator here.

BCTA/NA SPONSORED OFFERINGS CRITERIA

  • BCTA/NA Approved Teachers
    BCTA/NA Approved Teachers, in particular Senior Approved Teachers with over five years of teaching experience in BCST.

  • BCTA/NA Approved Teachers with teaching credentials in compatible fields
    BCTA/NA Approved Teachers with certification or endorsed educators in other pertinent fields. For example, pre and perinatal, psychology, meditation, somatics, trauma, embryology, etc and/or have run repeated successful trainings, webinars and classes.

  • Teacher/Presenter with exceptional experience nationally or internationally
    Credentialed teachers of methods, or related topic/s supportive of BCST. Teaching nationally or internationally the topic of expertise for at least five years.

BCTA/NA QUALITY ASSURANCE

In order to ensure the integrity, quality and professional impression of our association and its vision, BCTA/NA reserves the right to screen each presenter and their topics, materials and delivery to ensure a harmonious fit and meets the BCTA/NA standards of acceptable language, graphics, images and communications. This includes, but not be limited to, reviewing prospective presenters websites, social media, videos or past webinars and personal interviews, written materials including PDF’s, blogs, e-zines, posts, articles, books, powerpoints.

BCTA/NA Leadership Circle, Business/Operations Team, Board of Directors, Committee Members, Approved Teachers, Legal Counsel or trusted advisors may be included in the review.

Permission to share prospective presenters material with selected viewers is requested. With the understanding all presenter material and ideas are confidential.

The prospective presenter/s will be apprised of the viewer/s and their status. Viewers will be chosen with care, respect and sensitivity. They will view materials in good faith and confidentiality. The prospective presenters materials, weblinks, etc. will not be shared publicly.

CATEGORIES OF SPONSORED COURSES

  • Professional Enrichment Series Webinars. 
  • Special Online classes - Fee. With a member discount.
  • Special Online classes - No fee. Presenter donates their expertise to support the Association.
  • Related Organization and individual offerings. - Donation or Fee

BCTA/NA AND PRESENTERS AGREEMENTS

  • BCTA/NA and each presenter will enter into an individual agreement. The BCTA/NA and presenter will agree on a net percentage split.  Sponsored offering costs include, but are not limited to; implementation cost, recording, staffing costs, fees, withdrawals, refunds, etc.
