The Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (BCTA/NA)

BCTA/NA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization supporting practitioners and teachers of the biodynamic model of craniosacral therapy, as developed by Franklyn Sills, in the lineage of William Garner Sutherland, DO, and others. We employ an established curriculum to approve teachers, as well as recognize, register and provide a referral service for Registered Craniosacral Therapists (RCST®s). We also educate the public about the training and practice of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

For highlights of our many exciting activities, read our 2019 Annual Report.

What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST)?

BCST is a healing art that works with the energies that create and maintain health in the human system. While not a manipulative therapy, it has its roots in osteopathy and has evolved to include influences from human development, pre and perinatal psychology, trauma resolution, and recent advances in neuroscience. BCST supports nervous system regulation and allows the resolution of conditions resulting from stress and trauma. Practitioners use an educated, gentle, non-invasive touch  to engage with the expressions of health in the system.
