Cranial Wave Journal ~ Winter 2025/2026
![]()
This issue of the Cranial Wave takes as its theme the Sensorium, our entire sensory system of perception, how we perceive and interpret our experience of the world around us. How do we know, through what sense or combination of senses, and what might we not be aware of knowing? How much of it is culture shaping our perception? How do we cultivate our ability to be sensitive to the natural world we are part of as well. Our authors explored this idea from the quantum realm with Ellen Grossër to the visceral with Roger Gilchrist, the impact of the natural world for Melissa Cantera to the metaphysical with Andrew Rosenstock. We also mark the passing of our elder Franklyn Sills and pay homage to his impact in a special supplement with reflections from Cherionna Menzam-Sills, Roger Gilchrist, Gary Peterson and Robyn Michele Jones.
