Board Election and Voting Process

The BCTA/NA is currently accepting nominations for
five (5) seats on the Board of Directors.
Board terms beginning in September 1, 2026.

We invite individuals who are passionate about our mission and committed to supporting the association's growth, governance, and community impact to consider serving or to nominate a qualified candidate. Board members play an important role in providing strategic leadership, advocacy, and stewardship to help advance our work. We encourage nominations from individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise.

Commitment, integrity, and collaboration are the qualities we value in a Board member.  Elections will be held as soon as the slate of candidates has been confirmed.

With over 750 members, our Association is primarily run by a handful of volunteers and has been for nearly 30 years!

The association’s continual growth in membership is evidence of the value BCTA/NA provides, and congruent with that is our need for more members to facilitate and manage the expanded functions.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the association but we need the support of more members to sustain it. Click here to step forward and meet the moment.

Currently we have several openings on the Board and in Committees, and we are operating at a disadvantage without the full complement to staff the open positions. If just 10 percent of our 750 members come onboard to volunteer, much could be accomplished.

The Board is an operational Board with responsibilities in addition to governance. Board members will be asked to lead or contribute to a committee.
