Deepening Relationships with the Connection Practice

March 15 & March 22, 2021
Register HERE today ~ 2 spots open!

"I love using the Connection Practice because when we are caught up with emotional issues, it is difficult to relax enough for the body to heal itself.  Before a client arrives, it helps me be present both emotionally and mentally which, in turn, helps my client's body, mind, and heart to relax as we begin the BCST session. Ellen’s teaching techniques are masterful, and I recommend this class for anyone wanting more connection to their own feelings."

 Introduction to the Connection Practice

Free Workshop for For Couples, Pairs, Singles
February 14, 2021 ~ 1:00 - 2:00 pm Pacific (4:00 - 5:00 pm Eastern)

Join us for this free Valentine’s Day workshop! You will be introduced to a form of communication capable of building deeply-connected, equitable relationships where everyone’s needs are considered and can be met. Get first-hand experience and begin to understand why this practice can masterfully resolve inner turmoil and conflicts with others.

The Connection Practice began more than 15 years ago in Costa Rica as a synergy of Nonviolent Communication, where empathy is built, and HeartMath, where insights about our greatest communication issues are accessed.

It truly is “a simple solution for our disconnected world.”

Deepening Relationships with the Connection Practice

Using HeartMath and Nonviolent Communication to deepen connections in your most important relationships

2-Session Workshop: March 15 & March 22

4:00 - 6:30 pm Pacific (7:00 - 9:30 pm Eastern)

This 5-hour workshop will explain, demonstrate, and offer you experiences grounded in communication skills that lead to deep connection with yourself and with others. It is an elegant synergy of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and HeartMath where emphasis is placed on empathy accessed through NVC and insight made possible with HeartMath.

The focus of this class is on the scientifically-demonstrated link between feelings and needs and physiological changes in human heart rates which either facilitate or inhibit one’s access to clear thinking, creative problem solving, and deeply-connected and equitable relationships. You will:

  • Leave with an understanding of the direct impact emotions have on human heart rhythms and, in turn, how those rhythms impair or facilitate brain function.
  • Be able to identify if an event in your life depletes or renews your emotional energy
  • Practice the skills needed to interrupt the impact depleting emotions have on the body and its ability to perform at top efficiency.
  • Gain an understanding of how important empathy is to both communication and connection.
  • Learn about and practice 2 essential steps of NVC, feelings and needs and 3 HeartMath tools, Heart-focused breathing, Quick Coherence, and Freeze Frame.
