Lodging for Family/Friends: If any family or friends will be coming with you to Estes Park but not attending the Conference, you will be able to reserve lodgings  for them. When you register yourself for the Conference, you will find instructions for this on the Conference lodging registration form.

Roommates for Double Rooms:

  • If you reserve a double room and wish to share a room with a particular Conference attendee, you will need to communicate directly with them to arrange this, and indicate their name when you complete your Conference registration form. The two of you will be matched as roommates once Conference registration forms have been received from each of you.
  • If you will be sharing a double room with someone who is not attending the Conference, you will be asked to indicate this on your Conference registration form.
  • If you reserve a double room and are not able to arrange for a roommate on your own, we will look for another Conference attendee needing a roommate to share your room. You will be charged for a double room. However, if we cannot find a roommate for you, you will be invoiced for the additional funds for a single room. (NOTE:  If you are placed with a roommate and after arriving at the conference decide you want a single room, you will be invoiced for the extra amount required for a single room, plus the extra amount required for the roommate you were to be rooming with.)

Please note: Conference registration fees are non-refundable, and due to provisions in the contract with YMCA of the Rockies, payment of food and lodging is not refundable after July 1, 2023.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact [email protected].

Day Passes

If you will not be staying on the YMCA property, a $30 USD day pass is required per person (for each person in your party) for each day you are on the YMCA property. This Day Pass will give you access to the YMCA facilities.

Travel Information

The YMCA of the Rockies elevation is just over 8,000 feet.  It may take you two or more days to acclimate to this elevation. Please bring a reusable water bottle as you will need to drink more water than normal to avoid elevation sickness.

The Denver airport is 1 hour 45 minutes away.  When making travel arrangements, please take this into account.  The Denver airport is very busy and you will need extra time to get through security.

Shuttle service from the Denver Airport can be arranged through estesparkshuttle.com. The BCTA/NA will not be making shuttle arrangements for the Conference.
