Jamie Figueroa, MFA Jamie Figueroa is Boricua (Afro-Taíno) by way of Ohio and long-time resident of northern New Mexico. She is author of the critically acclaimed novel Brother, Sister, Mother, Explorer which "brims with spellbring prose, magical elements, and wounded, full-hearted characters that nearly jump off the page" (Publishers Weekly). Her writing has appeared in Elle, The New York Times, Emergence Magazine, McSweeney's, and American Short Fiction, among others. Jamie’s teaching and collaborative community work facilitates equitable engagement with underrepresented voices that highlights intergenerational, multi-racial & multi-ethnic as well as gender & sexual diversity. Currently, she facilitates modern myth making for personal and collective restoration and healing where she sources her guiding belief that story—the act of telling story and listening to story—is the most powerful tool we have as human beings to enact compassion and change. Katherine Ukleja, DO, RCST Katherine Ukleja has been a practitioner for 35 years and one of a small band of leading international teachers of Craniosacral Therapy for the past 25 years, spreading the biodynamic model across continents. Her entrée into the field of touch medicine was via massage and osteopathy, but it was Craniosacral Therapy that beguiled her. She qualified at the Karuna Institute under the inspirational guidance of Franklyn Sills, and then had the privilege of teaching alongside the great man for many years. For her, the biodynamic approach is the most potent way of returning the intricate organism, that is a human being, to the state of ongoing emergence that is original health. She is continually awed by the simplicity and eloquence of Primary Respiration. Learn more at katherineukleja.co.uk.

Bill Harvey, M.A., C.A.R. (Certified Advanced Rolfer), ISBCT (Full Instructor through Michael Shea) Bill Harvey has been a Certified Rolfer since 1984, Certified Advanced Rolfer since 1990, Rolf Movement Practitioner since 1999, and Biodynamic Craniosacral practitioner since 1984. Early on in his practice Bill couldn't help but realize two things: no matter how skilled and connected Bill was, the results were limited by his own as well as the client's belief systems and nervous systems; and, the most profound healing experiences for his clients were the result of forces that were ultimately outside of Bill's actions and control. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy expands both of these domains. But there's so much more that we as practitioners can do. Spiritual maturation is the answer, but what pathway can work for client and practitioner alike? How can we work around our cognitive and nervous system limitations of how we live our lives? Mudras work directly with our being-ness offering this crucial bypass of our thoughts, beliefs and wiring. Learn more at billharvey.org.

Andraly loves to spend as much time as possible observing and being still in the natural world. His love of nature is what informs him in his practice as a massage therapist. After graduating from the Florida School of Massage in 1993, he was asked to teach Kinesiology for their program. That foundation of the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system deepened his desire to understand healing in the human body. That desire led him to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy where he began training with Michael Shea in 1998. He has been a teaching assistant to Michael since 2002 and teaches courses himself. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and he is an organic farmer. This connection to the land led him to become a Mindful Outdoor Guide through the Kripalu Center. He currently leads Nature Liberations on his farm Open fArms Retreat. His practice continues to grow in connection with the land he stewards, offering practitioners and patients an opportunity to heal in connection with the work they are coming to experience.
